Located just three doors up from The Cape Dutch Quarters's main house, this delightful self-catering Tulbagh house enchants all who set eyes on her. Built in 1792, and restored to its original glory in 1974, the house retains all of the beauty of Cape Dutch living in Tulbagh, on only a slightly more modest level to that of the Manor House. Yellowwood ceilings, floors and furniture abound and all the rooms are tastefully decorated in a chic African Colonial-style.
This self-catering house enjoys a shady private veranda on Tulbagh's Church Street leading into a large open plan living and dining room. The fully equipped kitchen is ideal for those seeking self-catering accommodation in Tulbagh and boasts an open-plan informal lounge plus a lovely old kitchen hearth, a blessing in winter.
